The left side of the background looks good, but the text sucks donkey balls and the pics aren't really good either.

I don't want to demean you or anything, but you didn't make the render did you? Just added colour, the pics (with no effects!!! Just look at my f*ing tutorial), and the text. Very underwhelming.
Strictly design tip: Try to keep your player pics to a theme, ie. you have a posed pic of Bron and Shaq, but AI is in action.
