I fixed the wallpaper following the comments and suggestions given by Colin and Cable Guy (I was not able to change the pixel rendering since when I made the original wall I merged the layers of the background)
Comments please

Merging layers is bad. I know tutorials will tell you to merge them, but you definitely shouldn't. Just make a new layer and hit ctrl-shift-alt-e to merge all visible layers to one layer. Looks better.

Ok, maybe I'll make a brand new one without the pixel stretching, but does it look better now?

Oh shit, that made me laugh. I said the same thing when Andreas had that, he had like 3000 something times. It's part of my sig, and there's a meaning behind it.

Nice effect in the SMith sig, I like the new version better, the first one was bland, and now this second one is so explosive! Thats the word I was looking for, the explosiveness goes great with the Josh Smith theme, gj!

New Lebron sig:
What do u think?

Pretty good, you have gotten so much better! That outer glow fits good with the background, only thing im a little uncertiin of is the text, other than that nice sig
The pic looks kinda stretched, I dont know if you knew this but just hold down shift when you re-size the pics, if you already knew that then thats fine, but if you didnt, know you know.

Looks really good. I dont think you can make the text better than thta. Looks good. The only thing is that the pic seems strechted.
Good job nonetheless

Thanks for the comments guys...
Thanks for the tip nbalive744, i didn't know that. I'll fix the pic and then I'll post the v2
Mon Oct 17, 2005 5:26 am
I don't know what what nbalive said does, and you may already know this, but when you go to Image>Resize>Image Size, make sure the 'Constrain Porportions' is checked, that'll eliminate stretching if you resize the pic
Mon Oct 17, 2005 5:38 am
Yeah, but doing what nbalive said you can resize the layer instead of resizing the pic before cutting and pasting it to the sig...
Mon Oct 17, 2005 5:51 am
Oh, well, that's really good to know anyway, I didn't know that
Mon Oct 17, 2005 8:07 am
Not really feelin it, but the text and the lines are nice.
The pic just looks funny for some reason

No it doesn't. The background is a very bland soft grunge one. If he got some more brightness and contrast into it the glow would work.
BTW, most of the time an outer glow/stroke/blending effect looks crappy on a player.

Ok, I'll change that Lebron sig later... Meanwhile I made another one:
What do you think??
Wed Oct 19, 2005 8:44 am
That sig is Pretty Good
I can see that you used a tutorial from gamerenders , used to make a gaming signature, and you used it on a basketball signature, I really like the effects on it, not feeling that box around the text, try removing that box and use the text to blend in with the background, and the tech brushes dont go too well, other than that nice work! That background is really good!

Sorry to bring up the 'hold shift' thing again, but I tried it and it didn't work. What do I need to do? I held shift and went to Image>Resize>Image Size, but because I was holding shift I couldn't change the pixel height or width. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just a result of using Elements?

LMAO
If you select a layer and hit ctrl-T (or edit-->Free Transform, I think it's in edit

) then you can keep the proportions by holding shift. If you go into image resize you just check the box that says constrain proportions.

What are you talking about? This is the wrong forum, and you posted it twice.
Whatever. To change the colour, in the EBO Editor select the points that are around the parts you want to colour and then pick a colour.
