You're saying this like you're the only one who interacts with african-americans every day; I do as well. Your opinion is no more valid than mine just because of your race.

I clearly said in my previous post "I'm not saying some of you don't know alot of black people."

We're not exactly talking about old school hip-hop. Maybe you do, but I don't consider Common, Immortal Technique, Nas, etc. old school.

I never said Nas was old school either and Common is now on Kanye's label and Common music is nowhere near old school because he has music that is like his own style and doesn't sound like nobody else kind of like Kanye.

You also clearly said in your previous post "but I interact with blacks every day all day which is why I think my opinion is stronger".

true that.

as Teh Goat already pointed out im really into old-shool music, music that made sense, had some kind of meaning and deepness and also didnt sound similar to pop music. but what im talking about in this thread is not old-shool. im talking about todays rappers from the east and the fact that theyre simply better than that wack southern style.

But what did I say after that? That's the point.

That is nothing but an opinion like I've said before. This whole conversation is based on opinions so whats the point of continuing the argument if there aren't no facts that say the East is better than the South or the South is better than the East? You like a different styles of music and I like different styles of music.

But you still feel that your interaction with african-americans makes your point more valid than any of ours? That is clearly false.

Still failed to read what Mafia wrote after?
Well, I can quote if for you:
Mafia wrote:I have more opinions from others that love rap/hip hop than probably anyone else.

And how would he know that? He can't possibly judge the validity of all our points. He says he has more opinions than anyone else but who is he to judge that? Who is he to tell me how many opinions I get compared to his?
