Yeah, I'm not that optimistic either. They tend not to acknowledge anything that happened over a year ago unless it has some historical significance.

BZ wrote:Nope, he retains the title. That rule is absolutely retarded. If the rule was like that, why doesn't every single heel champion just nail their opponent with a chair? They should change it that, if the Champion scores a DQ, he loses his title. I neither want the belt on Cena or Orton. Preferably on Triple H ATM. Why?

Agreed. Triple H has been on the middle cards since last year's DX. Would love to see him back on the title frame.

Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:12 am

Is "middle cards" slang for "injured"?

Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:15 am

Or "suspended" for some wrestlers.

Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:19 am

They're probably working up to it. The thing is, they're probably going to want to save HHH/Cena or HHH/Orton for Wrestlemania 24 rather than Survivor Series, the Rumble or any of the smaller PPVs in between now and then.

Wed Sep 19, 2007 12:29 am

Maybe HHH is becoming heel again?? Cause yesterday on Raw Carlito, Cade and Murdoch were kicking HHH's ass and then came Kendrick and London and they saved Triple H... But Triple H made a Pedigree to both of them

Wed Sep 19, 2007 3:06 am

That mach between Cena`s 65 years old father and Orton was very stupid!!

Don't tell me that you believe what you're seeing in the WWE.

Off course he believes - he's a Cena's fan and that means all

I don't think they're going down that road just yet. I think it was more a case of the character making a statement that he doesn't need anyone's help and will stand alone. These days faces tend to get away with what would be traditionally heelish behaviour anyway.

So Marcus Cor Von just got released... damn. Had to deal with some serious family issues, which sidelined him for all of summer basically. I hope he comes back in the future, the WWE needs more wrestlers with his charisma and although he could've polished up his in-ring work, he was definitely upper mid-card material imo.

At the moment WWE is firing so much wrestlers...TNA is now full of past WWE superstars and because so many wrestlers are been firing or leaving WWE, so I think that the number of WWE stars in TNA federation will get bigger and bigger.

Thu Sep 20, 2007 11:10 pm

Cor Von is from TNA, I think.

They're not all having a huge impact in TNA so far as I can tell, with the exception of Angle and Christian Cage. Most of the releases tend to be developmental talents and lower card wrestlers.

Anyone here excited about the possible return of Y2j. I hope he goes to smackdown to give some action there or maybe ECW and make him ECW champ.

Sun Sep 23, 2007 9:31 pm

I think it's nice to have him back, since most of the Superstars have been suspended.

Mon Sep 24, 2007 12:03 am

I'm definitely hoping Jericho returns but if/when he does, I don't think ECW is the right place. I know ECW could benefit from having some star power and an experienced wrestler like Chris Jericho around to mentor the young guys but someone of Y2J's calibre needs to be on one of the two main shows, not the minor league that ECW has become.

You have a point there Andrew

I read that the latest on Booker is he might not be done with WWE and is reportedly negotiating a new contract. If he does re-sign, I think he should be moved back to Smackdown where they could use a quality main event heel. He seems to be the odd man out on RAW.

I agree with you, and also maybe he should go back to his Booker T gimmick but I read on wrestlezone that he doesn't want to go back to that gimmick :(

Tue Sep 25, 2007 12:39 pm

I guess the "king" angle has become somewhat of a classic as many wrestlers have adopted it or variations of it over the years, but I think it's run its course. Especially since he hasn't exactly dominated the competition the past few months.

I think Hornswoggle being the bastard son of Mr. Mcman is becoming interesting. Maybe he'll be the one who will always contradict Vince and Coach because Vince said that Hornswoggle can do decisions without question from others. Also, Hardcore Holly Returns to Raw. I thought he a Smackdown Superstar because of the Draft 2007? :?

Edit: Anyone saw the Matrix-like message on Raw. In those random letters and numbers, it is written there "SAVE_US.222" and some random words that is related to Jericho. Some people said that that the music of the vid is the entrance music of Jericho but played backwards. Could it be the the return of Jericho? Maybe they'll will make it 22J nxt week and then Y2J and then Jericho will return on No Mercy? :?

Here's the video:http://youtube.com/watch?v=9vQrruLQl4E

It's something different, I'll give it that. Supposedly Kennedy will be back in the mix after the suspension is lifted though, which means the angle could get very silly if they suddenly flip-flop and reveal Kennedy is actually McMahon's illegitimate son after a month of Hornswoggle skits.

I saw this "promo" video that tsino34 posted, somehow it is Jericho-related. Some speculate that Y2J will come at No Mercy since the phrase "OCT_7" (or something to that matter) appears at one point in the video. And October 7th is the date of No Mercy, so one way to confirm this is to wait for other "promos" like this in the coming days, since No Mercy is just a few days away.

And for Cena fans: :|
John Cena has been nominated by the Nickelodeon UK Kids’ Choice Awards for Best Sports Personality.
