yeah...be cool guys...

Sat Sep 01, 2007 1:07 pm

anybody hear of the 10 suspensions yet?

crazy, looks like they're following the precedent of "real" sports.

Sat Sep 01, 2007 2:01 pm

There's some big names on that list, including a couple of guys who are getting main event pushes. It will be interesting to see if they face any consequences since the WWE has fired Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci after he was named, though the speculation is that his termination might be just a token firing of someone expendable to show that they're taking the matter seriously.

Sun Sep 02, 2007 6:38 pm

Well, that wasn't a final list, I hope my hated wrestlers like Cena and Lashley will also be in final list :)

Sun Sep 02, 2007 7:13 pm

I think you'll be out of luck there.

Supposedly ten wrestlers have been suspended so Orton and Kennedy might be among them. I guess we'll know when they disappear from TV for a while if the list of suspended wrestlers doesn't come out before then.

Mon Sep 03, 2007 4:15 am

So WWE.com spoiled ANOTHER title change...agh...

Mon Sep 03, 2007 1:53 pm

I guess they're trying to get the jump on wrestling news sites when it comes to pre-taped events and leaked spoilers.

Looks like Orton won't be suspended. I'm not too fond of double standards like that and I'm guessing there'll be a few unhappy people backstage but it's not surprising given he's involved in a main event angle.

Mon Sep 03, 2007 5:49 pm

so...sir andrew...who do you think would be suspended?

Tue Sep 04, 2007 9:40 am

Probably everyone who has been named with the exception of Orton and possibly Kennedy.

Thu Sep 06, 2007 5:05 am

I think Orton wasn't suspended, because he's going to be win a WWE tittle at Unforginen...I hope, that I'm right :)

Thu Sep 06, 2007 6:57 am

maybe...he'll lose again.. :?

Thu Sep 06, 2007 11:34 am

Orton hasn't been suspended. I don't think Kennedy's been suspended as yet but it looks as though he's blown his push as he was originally intended to be McMahon's illegitimate son and now that won't be the case.

Has anyone else seen the latest news on the Benoit tragedy? It seems as though Chris Benoit's brain was severely damaged due to chronic concussions and head trauma from his years in the ring, with the damage resembling "an 85 year old Alzheimer paitient". There's certainly no excuse for committing such an atrocity but it perhaps offers a little more insight into why he snapped the way he did.

Thu Sep 06, 2007 5:49 pm

well...benoit seems fine...in the ring atleast...

Thu Sep 06, 2007 8:52 pm

That's exactly why the events of that fateful weekend in June came as such a shock. It would seem he had problems that extended beyond mere "roid rage".

Fri Sep 07, 2007 3:58 am

It wouldn't have been noticeable in the ring because (IMO) when they are out there they're essentially playing cartoon characters of real people anyway. All of the strange reactions to things, bizarre facial expressions etc, it's all part of the show. He could have spazzed out in front of everyone and they'd probably think it was part of the act.

Sat Sep 08, 2007 12:02 pm

Possibly, but I think that whatever demons he might have had he was able to hold it together while he was performing. However, given intensity was a character trait of his on-screen persona it might not have been noticeable if he had an "episode" in the ring unless another performer was injured.

Sun Sep 09, 2007 5:29 pm

Hey, I've heard that Ric Flair want to leave WWE, because he got mixed up to steroid scandal, so he want leave WWE 'clean' There's also a Big Show in that scandal, because theese 2 wrestling legends (Flair and Show) have received a parcel with steroids in 2003

Mon Sep 10, 2007 10:23 am

Flair's apparently upset about his lack of TV time as well. I also read at Rajah's that King Booker has quit the company too, though WWE is trying to smooth things over and get them to change their mind since both are still under contract.

Mon Sep 10, 2007 11:07 am

 They're running out of good wrestlers. I'll not be surprised to see more old skool wrestlers back in action soon.

Mon Sep 10, 2007 3:34 pm

How is jobbing Booker T out to Triple H even going to help the WWE persuade Booker to come back? Booker is practically set. He has a hip-hop store, a couple of wrestling promotions running and is financially secure according to various wrestling news sites, so imo, it'd be better for Booker to enjoy retirement, since with the WWE atm, Booker will have to carry a heavier load in place of all those suspensions. Which means further jobs to Triple H.

Speaking of Triple H... if he was to be named the new McMahon bastard child, it'd be one of the biggest waste of storyline potential in the past decade, and it'd finally satisfy Vince's appetite for some incest action as well, especially since he used to push for it to happen.

Mon Sep 10, 2007 5:29 pm

Hehehe, WWE had offered a 7-number worth contract to Chris Jericho. It means, that it is at least 1000000$ We're waiting for you, Y2J :) I hope Jericho would go to SD, cause Raw is full of high-push wrestlers.

Mon Sep 10, 2007 6:38 pm

OMG! is this true??flair, show and king booker??? oh well...i agree with lean...maybe,they'll pick the old school wrestlers...but...i'm also expecting to see new faces...

Mon Sep 10, 2007 10:00 pm

And we'll be surprised to see a Fatal Four-Way match at Unforgiven pitting John Cena, defending the WWE Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan and the Undertaker. :|

I think this is what it'll take to get rid of Cena as champion  . Man, I'm just sick of seeing the same old stuff since last year's Unforgiven.

Lean wrote:... Man, I'm just sick of seeing the same old stuff since last year's Unforgiven.

I so understand you, cause I feel exactly the same  Please, Vince, stop pushing Cuck Fena  If Cena won't lost his gay tittle at Unforgiven, I would start watching TNA (There is a few my likeable wrestlers like AJ Styles, Kurt Angle and Christian Cage)...And TNA bookers aren't as stupid as WWE. Every time Cena has a match, deeply in my heart I beliave that Cena wil suffer a big big injury...

Tue Sep 11, 2007 9:58 am

I don't really follow TNA so I can't really comment but from what I've seen they recently put every belt on Kurt Angle including the tag belts despite him not having a partner, so I would suggest they're not infallible in the booking department either.

The latest on Flair is that he gave his notice because he's unhappy with how he's being used but he hasn't left the company yet and will likely return.
