^man i wish we had a good team that i can brag about
have there been any big player movements so far in the season? especially to the top teams in europe

Great win against Chelsea. We're still in 6th place, but are now only 3 points behind Newcastle in 3rd. Tottenham have 2 games in hand though.

The race for 3rd + 4th may end up being more exciting than the race for the title this season.

God, sucks to see Man City like that. My hat's off to Robin. Just incredible what this guy is doing.

I hope for your sake that he decides to sign a new contract soon. I can see someone like Chelsea coming in with a bid in January.

Last nights Napoli-City game was AWESOME. Cavani is a total beast.
Fri Nov 25, 2011 10:53 pm
^ Shame Man City will probably buy him for like $60m next season.

Would love to sign Cavani next year if we make the Champions League. Suarez should have a word with him next time their on international duty...

Both Manchester teams will be playing in the Europa League now.

Also Lille are out of Europe completely, so maybe Hazard will leave in January.
Fri Dec 09, 2011 5:23 am
So happy that both United and City are going to Europa. Now, as every single year, Arsenal will get one of the most powerful 2nd seeds, that is Milan, Lyon or Bayer Leverkusen. No Basel, no CSKA.

Liverpool should buy him back, Chelsea would've given them 30 million for a two season loan and 3 prem league goals
Wed Dec 14, 2011 4:39 pm
There's one problem with doing that. He is nowhere near the player he was a few seasons ago and doesn't look like ever getting back to that level.
If it was guaranteed that he'd be his old self, then I would say yes. Him and Suarez would be amazing together. (It was the original plan before he decided to leave)

http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_ ... aly-rewardROME -- Italy coach Cesare Prandelli is planning to reward Simone Farina, the player who became a whistle-blower on a match-fixing offer, by letting the previously little-known Gubbio defender train with the national team.
"It's a way to thank him and underline what he represents," Prandelli told Italian daily La Repubblica. "He didn't just show courage, he also showed extraordinary inner strength."
Last month, Farina was offered $260,000 to influence the outcome of an Italian Cup match between Cesena and Gubbio on Nov. 30.
Farina refused and told police. When the news broke alongside the arrests of 17 people across Italy on Monday, Farina was hailed as a hero.
Judicial officials said Farina was approached by Alessandro Zamperini, his former teammate from Roma's youth system. Zamperini was among those arrested.
The money Farina might have received would have been more than double his salary.
"Gestures like that don't come easy in the lower divisions," Prandelli said. "Now it's up to us not to abandon him."
Farina likely will train with Italy ahead of a Feb. 29 exhibition game against the United States. He won't play in the match.
"From a technical standpoint, it can't be a real call-up, but it's the message that counts," Prandelli said.
Nice gesture from Prandelli. Embarrassing for Italian football that match-fixing still happens even after the recent punishments for Juventus though.

If you don't win the Cup, is it safe to say that Dalglish is out? Rumors have been flying.
Sat Jan 28, 2012 12:24 pm
The only way he leaves is if we get relegated or he has had enough. He is beyond a legend at the club and the owners would get crucified if they fired him if he wasn't doing really poorly. But of course if he feels that he isn't doing the best thing for Liverpool he may decide to walk. He puts the club first.
I haven't heard any rumours of him under pressure though. We are only 6 points behind Chelsea with 16 games to go. Anything can happen in that time.
Plus, Suarez is back next week!

Knocked both Manchester teams out of the cups in the space of a few days.

Patrice Evra can eat a bag of dicks.

Look how Suarez offers his hand but Evra denies him, then grabs Suarez to make it seem like it was the other way around. Then he acts up to the camera. He knew exactly what he was doing.
And Ferguson can fuck off too. Telling other clubs to sell their players? Sick of him.
Sun Feb 12, 2012 11:19 pm
When I first saw it, I was surely thinking that Suarez is a dick. Looking at this, my mind has completely been flipped.

Props to Kop fans for winning the Carling Cup
Funny how Steven Gerrard missed the first penalty and then his cousin missed the last one.
