My God this is rediculous. It is obvious that Mathew is only around to get a rise out of people, which he is doing. Just ignore him. He is being so petty.

Me responding to people is me trying to get a rise out of people? Right.

Hell Mathew, you chided Cy for:

care(ing) more about my punctuation then ways to improve NLSC

you were the first person to bring up punctuation. If you want belittle people over trivialities, then expect the same in return.

In my experience, people often do such a thing when they don't want to respond the person's argument and instead choose to argue over some ridiculous triviality like their use of punctuation.

A few things wiht that post:

1. I didn't just comment about his puncuation in my reply to him.

2. If you look at the post he said, he had around 5 commas in one sentence. IF I TALKED IN ALL CAPS DO YOU THINK SOMEONE WOULD SAY SOMETHING TO ME? Exactly.

3. I've posted numerous idea's in this thread alone to help improve things at these forums. Cyanide (or yourself) have not. Therefore you really can't question my intentions in this thread where you have come up with no solutions or ideas.

Jesus Christ. Either be productive, contribute to the purpose of the actual thread, or I'm just gonna lock this bitch up. God, can't we have a discussion without having to whip out our dicks to see whose is bigger, or who's dad can beat up the other's dad? Fucking A.

Hmm, it would be good if you had the ability to lock this thread in the first place.

I wonder why people here are so willing to throw their 2 cents in when it comes to this thread, but they bite their tongue when it comes to ideas and such.

I guess it's easier to stand on the sideline.

It's not easier to stand on the sideline, it's just very difficult to not respond to your argument bait. I hate every time I respond, including this one.

His point is valid though...This thread could be productive but it has turned into a bunch of senseless bitching, fingerpointing, and namecalling-all of which don't help the problem but aggravate it.

although Matthew & I don't see I to I, he does have some good points & some points that I might not agree with....

but to put it back to the topic at hand, I'd like to see a superb idea not go to waste....Matthew created NLSC Hall of Fame (or at least I think he did)....I don't want to see it fall by the wayside....I don't think 2006 nominees have been inducted & I know for sure there are no 2007 nominees yet (Cocobee anyone?!?), so I'm wondering what's going on....

Matthew, if you are back as part of the community, I really hope you revive the NLSC Hall of Fame....I might be drunk, but I do see the positive in it & I think it deserves a rightful place in the community....

my only suggestion....perhaps the retired people (ie. Tim, Lutz, Andrew, Jae, Matthew etc) get a retired jersey with their name on it on the main site (obviously on a link)....maybe I'm a drunken fool (old one at that), but it sounds pretty swell to me....

so overall, this community is good....some people might not like Matthew (most of the times, I don't either), but who cares....it's not for me, him or anyone else....the community is number 1....and the truth is I think Matthew thinks the same....his delivery isn't what I'd considered ideal, but if it gets results, then who the hell cares anyone?!?

okay, time is up....lock this thread please....I've read it for the last week or so & I'm sick of it....

You want the thread to be locked up after we finally have a post where someone puts fourth an idea?

If you want me to return and resurrect the HOF then fair enough, I'll do it.

Touche. Still getting used to my new assignment

A half a dozen consecutive threads nit-picking grammatical intricacies and so on and so forth certainly doesn't fall under the grounds of leaving a thread open, though. Glad to see we've at least gotten back on a semblance of track.

As for the HoF idea, it's a great one, and hopefully Matthew will indeed come back and revive it as he's said he would. (Y)

sometimes it takes a bit of alcohol to get the creative juices flowing I guess....
