I remember when that was racing against Mad World by Gary Jules for the Christmas #1 single in England. I think I heard that song about 900 times in the whole week. As it turnt out, Mad World beat out Christmas Time

I didn't feel like making a new thread for this, so I changed the name of this one. Jokes and randomness are close enough. Anyway, post your favourite jokes, it'll be good for some laughs. Here's one of mine:

A guy is told that he must climb a ladder to reach success, so he starts to climb the ladder.

After a while, he reaches a platform. On the platform are three naked girls, but they're ugly as hell. One girl says to him, "You can stop here with us, or keep climbing to success." The guy thinks about it, but decides he rather climb to success.

He keeps climbing for a while, then he reaches another platform. On this platform are three more naked girls, but they're the hottest girls he'd ever seen. One girl says to him, "You can stay here with us and have eternal pleasure, or you can keep climbing to success." The guy thinks about it for a very long time, but once again reluctantly decides he rather climb to success.

After a lot longer time, he finally reaches the top of the ladder. At the top, there's one guy waiting, looking happy someone finally arrived at the top. He says to the guy who climbed up, "Hi, my name's Ces."

What do you think? I'll post another one once I have time to write it out, though some of you might not get it, so I'll explain a bit. It's about Quebecers.

Okay here it is.

Three guys are walking along a beach. One's from Quebec, one's from Nova Scotia and one's from Newfoundland (Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are provinces on the Atlantic Ocean; and Quebec is the French province, for a while they really, really wanted to separate from the rest of Canada). One guy spots a lamp lying on the sand. He picks it up and out comes a genie. The genie says he will grant them each one wish.

The Nova Scotia guy goes first.
"I wish there was enough fish in the ocean and no unemployment."
The genie says, okay, and grants the wish.

The Quebec guy goes next.
"I wish there was a wall a mile high all the way around Quebec, and no-one can get in, no-one can get out."
The genie looks puzzled, but says okay, and grants the wish.

The Newfie is last.
He asks, "There's fish in the ocean?"
The genie says, "Yup."
"There's no unemployment?"
"Nope, everyone's got a job."
"There's a mile-high wall around Quebec, no-one can get in, no-one can get out?"
"Yup"
"Fill it with water."

Oh, it's a Canadian joke. Since most of people in the province of Quebec are french-speakers, they tend to be alienated from the rest of Canada because the majority of Canada is english-speaking. They even tried to split apart from Canada at one point as well, so I guess it's sort of bagging on the Frenchies in Quebec a little bit.

Anyway, the joke didn't seem that funny to me either though.

i just learned and cipra coldplay's "IN MY PLACE" song. its a cool guitar lead. i'm happy
