I don't know if ya'll remember me but I'm this goofy Asian guy that used to patch over at nbalive.org and regularly posted here.

For those who remember me,

I stopped posting (and making patches) both here and back at dotorg essentially after finding out what a travesty NBA Live 07 was and started my first year of college. My first year at Rice University was overall a successful and fun one (I started drinking, among other things ). I've decided I wanted to be an electrical engineer and make a lot of money so I can by the newest videogame systems so I don't have to resort to play crappy games like the NBA Live series on the PC.

Just wanted to see how everyone's doing (Jae, Jackal, Nick, Andreas, Andrew, etc) and I'll probably be posting here more since it's summer and I'm bored out of my mind.

Good to see you back.

It has been an interesting year. Jae's retired but will eventually show up. Matthew is no longer a mod, but is still around doing his thing (especially his 2k7 dynasty). Donatello retired, but recently returned when Portland got #1 pick.

There's several new mods and team members. There was a rough patch, but it has all come around again.

What a refreshing thought this is. People are actually coming back. Well, one person, but still, it's a start.

Glad to hear your first year of college went well, I remember you telling us your parents kinda put a lot of pressure on you to do well in school and all.

Hehe, nice to hear you started drinking aswell, the "Post here when you're drunk" thread surely will be getting many more hits due to the hot summer and cold beers.

How's it going with Jackal? Pretty alright if you'd ask me. I think for how I was, I've mellowed out a bit. Probably stopped caring as much, little point in getting agitated about the littlest of things. College is going it's way for me aswell, I've got my last exams on the 21st of June (I'm doing Law, second year, for the unaware), I fill most of my time by either working out, working, driving around with friends, watching movies, ocassionally going out, dating girl A but being totally in love with girl B...

So there you have it, a little update on Jackal. Andrew will probably respond to the thread, but a lot of guys you'd expect to respond (Nick, Jae, Matthew in particuliar, Jowe too for that matter) have gone MIA.

I don't post much because I know I'll get insulted by you. Every Forum usually has their resident asshole, but you're possibly the biggest asshole I've seen in the history of Internet Forums. That's saying something too, considering I've seen some pretty terrible shit.

You haven't seen an asshole in a RPG forum. Those geeks are worse than the Simpsons Comic Book Guy. It's like they're angry all the time, like Kratos of God of War, only geekier.

In retrospect, I think I put more pressure on myself during highschool because I did so well earlier in 9th grade and I had to keep it up. I have become much more relaxed and chill after a semester of an insane amount of partying (wet campus, go figure ) ensured that I will never have a 4.0.

It's weird to see a lot of new faces around here and it's also weird to not see old faces posting but I'll get used to it.

Have fun with the partying, but don't get too caught up in it. I've seen a lot of people start to become indifferent to school, and eventually their grades became so bad, they got kicked out. If you did well in your first year, well then, I'm sure you'll be fine
