Try to use some brushes. These 2 or 3 different backgrounds don't really fit wit each other. Try some effects on the player and on the background with colors etc.
And you should write the name of the player on the sig instead of yours

Thanks for the comments buzzy it helped me a lot. My second project is a Daniel Gibson Signature as you can see I didn't cut the later part of the Daniel Gibson picture Im afraid I might loose his face hehe.. Comments are welcome please post thanks!

The background color is ugly. Choose better colors and try some effects, that the player (and maybe the text) stands out of the sig.
The first version of the Gibson sig is your best so far IMO.

Another Signature and now with Kobe Bryant on it... I called it "A new road ahead". I hope this one will work out good Thanks!.. Leave some comments guys.

blend it better and more lighting too.. and the background kinda looks pale.

Kobe's photo looks kinda stretched, looks a little weird to me...

i suggest u use better pics.. coz u always use stretched ones which deliver less quality and sharpness..

I didnt stretch it out.. If you lowered the size of the Image will it also be not good? I lessen the size of it to fit it on the sig.. I used a hue/saturation and a Motion or Gaussian blur on it and choosed overlay and added a little lighting effect.. hmm what would seem to be the problem? thanks TSquared

I liked the Kobe Bryant New Road Ahead sig.

Your basic ideas in that one are pretty good. Kind of try to model your others after that color scheme (doesnt matter what colors you use exactly, just make sure you try to use colors which are related).

I hate when people try to mix colors which obviously don't go. Keep your colors either "warm", "cool", or complementary in some facet.

Getting better though.... just takes time...

work longer on your sigs they are kinda unfinished
bg´s are plain and simpel but in this case it isnt working well
and one more thing work on your text´s
