Aston Villa vs Tottenheim Spurs

On Villas first possesion they got down field and crossed it towards the net where Tierre Henry was there for a header which sailed about 3 feet out of bounds. Then at the 25 minute mark Henry got another cross and headed over 2 people into the back of the net for a GOOOAALLL!!:D http://home.skysports.com/images/player ... erland.jpg

In the 2nd 1/2 Henry was slidetackled by Carrick and Carrick got a yellow card BUT Henry was HURT! he would leave the game 4min later when replaced by angle. He got a standing ovation for his 1st game of the year. In the 78 minute Solano was tripped by king and King got a yellow card . Angel stood up for Solano and got right in Kings face. . In the 88th minute We had a corner kick and Samuel headed it but it was saved and kacked away. Then the whistle finally stopped the half and we won 1-0. Our GK was Sorensen who saved all 13 shots and got a clean sheet to start his goalkeeping year !

Henry is out with an Ankle sprain and will be out of play till Sept. 8th 2005. 1 game in paticular that he will miss is against his old team Arsenal which i was going 2 be but I was not offered a contract by them and so i put him on Villa .

home Portsmouth vs Aston Villla away
0-0-1 coming off a loss to middlesbrough 0-1. 1-0-0 coming off win over tottenham 1-0

Slow first half but in the late 1st half O'Brien tripped Baros and got a RED card! Baros was hurt . 0-0 at halftime.
in the 50 minute Baros was replaced by Hughes and Barry replaced by Phillips.
the game went to a draw at a 0-0 final.
Record now 1-1-0 with 4pts.

home Aston Villa vs West Ham away
1-1-0 coming off draw to portsmouth 0-0 1-0-1 coming off 3-0 loss to middlesbrough.

Quick and fluid offence from the begginng to end of the 1st half . 10 minutes in Angel scored off a cross from Barry, Barry brought the ball up field and faked out ferdinand then crossed it to Angel who headed it for a goal. 1-0. Later Barry tripped Ferdinand and was a no call barry got the ball and brought it up.http://www.playingzone.com/images/jeux/ ... ev_sc9.jpg
At the 44 minute mark Angel got a breakaway and had his shot blocked by the GK but then put it back by himself for his 2nd goal of the half and game halftime score is 2-0.

The final score was 2-0 and sorensen now has stopped 28 consecutive shots on goal . Overall they didnt want is as much as we did and they got frustrated and penalties hurt them. We had alot of breakaways and played good offence to.

interviewer: Do you think Aston Villa will benefit from the World Cup experience they'll get?
Coach: Certaintly, yes. It Can never hurt a players game to play a new role once in a while.

O do you think that this team has a chance against Arsenal withouth Henry or Baros (2strikers) because im 4.5 and their 5s and i dont have my star players for that game.

Home WBA vs Aston Villa away.
(0-0-3) (2-1-0)
WBA came out mutch better than their record showed and had a very very tough press. A yellow card was called on Caplow after tripping McCann. Hughes later went in for the hurt McCann. Nearing the end of the 1/2 it seemed like it would be 0-0 but Barry made another great cross to Hughes who beat the goal keeper for the first goal of the night. WBA would score later in the 2nd half to make it 1-1 and Sorensen streak would end at 30 shots. McCamm is expected to be back September 29th 2005 from his like the others ankle sprain.
Job Security is up 1pt know .

Goals
Hughes beats the goal keeper for the goal.

Carter beats Sorensen for the 1st allowed goal this year.


Team record is 2-2-0 and Arsenal is next without McCann, Henry, or Babos.

PREGAME SMACKTALK BY ASTON VILLA THEN ARSENAL!
The 1st half went easy with nothing really happening, we and Arsenal had chances but the combined 9 shots wasnt enough to produce a goal.
The 2nd half was better/more exciting with a yellow card quickly on Gilbert for tripping Hendrie. Soon after Phillips scores by beating the defender and kicking the ball into the net pass the GK. goal they score and tie it up. With about 6 minutes left Angel scores of a beutiful pass by Kevin Phillips and Angel gets a running header past the goalie for the winning goal.
WOAH! should i start Angel or Henry who comes back for next game against Middlesbrough.

GOOOAAALLSS!


Coach: I wanted to inform you that Tierre Henry is back and wil play next game either start or off the bench for Angel.

In the 11th minute Thierre Henry Scores ! A beutiful putback on his own shot put us up 1 early . Viduka got a yellow card in the 43rd minute of the game. Angel scored on a breakaway in the 40th minute after a great pass by Henry. 2-0 at 1/2. In the 68th minute Henry scored AGAIN!
a lead pass by Hendrie set up a breakawy where he beat the GK for goal #2, Middlesbrough argued the call. Hughes scored in th 80th minute after a pass from barry and then tink off the side post and in for a goal and 4-0 lead. In the 83rd minute Angel scored his 2nd goal after a steal from a defender in the box and beats the goalkeeper and we win by blowout 5-0.

4-2 with 14 pts and 1st in league standings next game is in league cup with a game against a 2.5 rating, im a 4.5 right now so might be 2 easy .
