i dont know what his name on the forum was, but Mike Thompson isn't going to be posting anymore. he used this place as a place to vent and talk about his problems, because besides me no one really understood. im his cousin, splash (yea they actually call me that). heres the story...

mikes been through a lot and the last couple months may have been the worst of it. he went through things you couldnt even imagine. because not many people understood or even cared about him, he needed a way to solve his problems. he smoked a lot of pot to get away from it all.

anyway a few weeks ago he was hangin out with his friends smokin some weed and they got the munchies, so they went to starbucks which was near by (they werent smoking anymore but still high).while outside the store a couple of cops drinking coffee noticed how stoned mike and his friends were. they started asking the kids questions. mike doesn't like questions. in some kind of crazy altercation mike ended up pullin a buterfly knife on the cop and threatening him. he was too stoned to realize the cop had a gun.

although his sentence hasnt been set, hes going to juvie for sure. hes not going to be postin here for a while. i just want to say that mike was a great kid who just saw one too many things a 13 year old should and made a bad decision. im 2 years older than him and even i look up to him. he was very mature and even sent through a shitload of racism in school, being one of the 6 or 7 black kids in his school (although that seemed to help him alot with the girls). i just thought you guys would want to know because he used this board as a place to post the same thoughts and feeling he shared with me, and i figured although a lot of you guys couldnt care less theres probably some of you who do care and wish mike the best.

Mm, why does a 13 year old feel the need to get stoned? He passed himself off as quite a tough fellow who's been through enough ups and downs to handle them, so I dont think he smoked to get rid of his problems, I think it was just for fun.
