Forum Upgrade

Postby Andrew on Tue Jun 14, 2005 1:58 pm

If you've encountered any problems browsing the forum today, it's likely because I've updated to the latest version of phpBB and part of the installation process makes the forum unavailable (with an error message regarding the \contrib and \install directories).

The forum should be working as it was before, there doesn't appear to be any conflicts with the latest version of phpBB and the mods we have installed.

Well I seem to have found a little problem, you know when you go to someone's profile and press Find All Posts by that user? Usually it would give a list with all of the posts, now it says nothing can be found. That's weird. :?

First I thought it just didn't find any posts of mine, then I tried yours also and it didn't find any. We all know that's a bit unpossible.
(Yes, I did that on purpose.)

Would this be one of them?
phpBB : Critical Error

Error creating new session

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1114 The table 'phpbb_sessions' is full

INSERT INTO phpbb_sessions (session_id, session_user_id, session_start, session_time, session_ip, session_page, session_logged_in, session_admin) VALUES ('e18423f67c39c534e53f8a4bdab4194f', -1, 1118796471, 1118796471, '45ac3f22', 52, 0, 0)

Line : 172
File : sessions.php

That's what I kept getting last time when I had log-in probs.

Nah, that's an error all of us keep getting. It has something to do with Search Engines if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure Andrew mentioned it somewhere but as soon as he sees this post, he'll re-enlighten you about what that error is all about.

Don't know what's going on there Jackal, but I'll see if anyone else has reported that problem after upgrading to phpBB 2.0.15.

The criticial error that Remy mentioned we're aware of, and still trying to fix.

Good to know. Any other issues (aside from those we know about and are still trying to fix), just let me know and I'll see what can be done.

If it's possible it would be great if you could fix the search function so it goes further back than just 3rd of December.
