I need an ISO of this game. Before you say oh no hes trying to get an illegal version of the game, I can send you pictures of the box, the cd case, the cd, etc. I can also send you a screenie of the error I get in the install.

Ahhh!! You're trying to get an illegal version of the game!!! :!: :o
Anyway, this is a bad site to look for those kind of things. You should go to some torrent site, or download one from emule or other downloader :P

Actually Its not illegal because I own the origional CD, case, box, etc. I can send you pictures as proof. I can send you a screenshot of the error. I paid for the game, and the cd is now corrupt. I still own the right to play the game.

He was just joking. This site never likes things like that, just search around for some other sites.

Wed May 18, 2005 5:46 pm

I don't mean to be a pain in the butt, but why not? Its 100% legal, and I don't feel like getting my IP on a list that the RIAA and whoever else can pull up at any whim... let alone risking the viruses etc.

If you have the game, why would you want an .iso?
You can make your own .iso with Nero if you have the game...

It's your own fault you corrupted the game. Making an image of it will just make an image of the corrupted data already on the disc so what's the use?

Secondly if it's not your fault it's corrupted, return the game.

CDs degrade over time. I doubt Best Buy is going to give me another copy of Madden 2003 that I paid $9.95 for. Why don't I just go out and buy Madden 2005? Because my computer can't run it.

So even if I corrupted the game, does that mean that I lose the right to use it?

Yes, you're right... Making an image of it will just make an image of the corrupted data... thats why I am asking someone to make an image of their disc.

why not save up all your pennies and buy a new copy if its only $9.95?

Its Madden 2003.

That's why you always download a No-Cd crack. I do that for every game, since my NBA Live 2000 got messed after playing it for 3 years, i just download no-CD cracks to no to screw up the original CD.

hmm you know theres a thing called reformatting. It kinda makes you loose the no-CD exe and the installation.

Now if the installation is gone... that means I have to install again... But I can't.

I don't buy off of the internet. Been ripped off too many times. Anyway why should I pay again when I already own the game?

Fri May 20, 2005 3:49 pm

Because your game doesnt work, and you wont get ripped off by amazon, cuz if you do, you get your money back.

Ok, but still, why should I have to pay twice for a three year old game?

Sat May 21, 2005 2:05 pm

BECAUSE YOUR GAME DOESN'T WORK!!!!

is 10 bucks really out of your price range?

Sun May 22, 2005 1:53 am

Then pay a little more and get a new PC, then you get Madden 2006 and you're done

What you fail to understand is when you purchase a game, or any software for that matter... you are not paying for the disc, or the data that is on the disc, you are paying for the license to USE the software.

That is why ROMs are legal, as long as you own the counterpart, the license. They don't care what format it is in, as long as you own the license.

You don't have two drivers licenses do you?

I'm in school right now... and I don't have money. I don't even have a job. Thats out of the question.

This is hilarious  my favourite part was the "it's not available anymore" "oh I don't buy off the internet, that doesn't count".

I will never buy off of the internet again. Too many things can go wrong. If it is not available in a 50 mile radius around my home, it is not available.

What you fail to understand

What I fail to understand is why you keep arguing your way out of buying a new copy.
when you purchase a game, or any software for that matter... you are not paying for the disc, or the data that is on the disc,

I should hope so in your case, cuz your disc dont work

you are paying for the license to USE the software.

but a license is useless if the game doesn't work.

Think of it like this. If you owned a farm, and one of your goats didn't produce any goat milk anymore, and you really liked goat milk, and you found out it was because it needed a very rare surgical procedure, would you ask all your friends if they could do the surgery, or if they would kill one of their goats and transplant their organs to make your goat healthy again.......or woudl you spend the 10 bucks and just buy a new goat?

That is why ROMs are legal, as long as you own the counterpart, the license. They don't care what format it is in, as long as you own the license.

is that why ROMs for Dreamcast, GameCube, Impact, Nintendo 64, Nintendo GBA, Playstation, Playstation 2, or Xbox are non existent due to leagal issues?

You don't have two drivers licenses do you?

well, if I lost my first one, or there was a spelling mistake on it, or if I spilled a drink on it and it got all warped and shit, then I'd get a new one.
