List your top 3 movies of all time:
EDIT: "Quality" movies please... no "Weekend at Bernie's" or somesuch.
Mine are:
1) Forrest Gump - some say it was a tribute to stupidity, I say it was a tribute to simplicity.
2) The Seventh Seal by Ingmar Bergman. A classic masterpiece that most of you probably have not even heard of.
3) Citizen Kane. Another masterpiece, some say it was the best movie of all time. Orson Wells in all his grandeur, a true marvel.

When I was in grade 8 we were watching fight club in class, and the teacher said it would be ok because he would fast forward through all the sex scenes. Well, suffice to say, both times he only made it to the vcr right after the scene was done, and it was really funny
That's all I really remember of the movie lmao
Wed May 11, 2005 1:54 am
Good Will Hunting
Rounders
Hoop Dreams
Goodfellas
Kill Bill 1 & 2

Oh yeah Goodfellas was good...
Ali was ok I guess...kinda got boring after a while. I enjoyed the first time though. Then I watched it again after a few years and it kinda got draggy for most of the movie
Add Gladiator to my list as well

The Guys At \"IMDB\" wrote:Preston, Idaho's most curious resident, Napoleon Dynamite (Heder), lives with his grandma and his 32-year-old brother (who cruises chat rooms for ladies) and works to help his best friend, Pedro (Efren Ramirez), snatch the Student Body President title from mean teen Summer Wheatley (Haylie Duff).
its really funny though, if you watch it you will laugh.
But its either one of thoes movies where you love it, or you come out of the theater saying "What The Hell?"

his 32-year-old brother (who cruises chat rooms for ladies)

I think it basically just attracted attention in the USA (I'm not even sure it was shown somewhere else in theatres). It's one of those movies, as Mazz said, that you either like or you don't. But the chances are that someone out of the US won't think too highly of it since it plays a lot on a certain american lifestyle (at least that's how I picked it up as). I though it was ok, it had it's moments, although for the most part I just felt sorry for him, and several other people, for some odd reason, and didn't think it was very funny.

they sound exactly like my friend and his brother

Wow, not only are we both pacers fans, but we have similar taste in movies? SWEET!
But, none of those are in my top 3, my top 3 are American History X, Fight Club and Se7en.
BTW, Napolean Dynomite was the most overrated, overhyped movies ever.

That's exactly how I felt when I watched it. It's hilarious seeing my friends imitate him though, but actually watching him do it was kinda sad.

2. Forrest Gump
3. American History X
and seven more

:
4. Requiem For a Dream
5. American Beauty
6. Fight Club

You must really like Tom Hanks. So do I.
Wed May 11, 2005 9:10 am
Even if Tom Hanks wasn't in Saving Private Ryan, it'd still be my number one movie since that's probably the most amazing war movie I've ever seen. But yeah, I like Tom Hanks, and I'm looking forward to watching The Da Vinci Code movie when it comes out, even though (as Jackal has said before) he doesn't really fit the role. But his acting is superb.
