pope in a coma

Postby j.23 on Fri Apr 01, 2005 6:45 pm

this is crazy.. sounds stupid but i've always thought of this guy as immortal.. didn't seem like he could get sick until recently. i hope the guy recovers.. there's gonna be a big hole for someone to cover if he does pass away :(

What does he do these days? Awell, it'd be sad to see him go but it's been coming for a while now. For me he's one of those guys that I wouldn't have minded seeing for myself (in that thing he does where he kind of mumbles while people cry) even though I'm not religious at all.

Btw the Vatican are saying he isn't in a coma.

It was sad to see such a great individual in his state... Maybe it's his time to go away, and maybe it's for his better...

yea perhaps that is right...i just hope that the void he leaves will be filled as best as possible. Nonetheless, it is sad to see such a great vicar of the Church leave :|

Last I heard, he got a heart attack, and is "gravely ill" according to the Vatican officials.

Looks like he won't be around much longer in the next few days.

Seriously, show some respect.

Anyways, according to CNN, his condition has deteriorated, no reports of him dying yet though. Hope he survives.

I heard he had a fever, and they gave him last rights, but then didn't really get worse. Then next morning my mom told me that at night he got heart failure, and now I see on msn that he has kidney failure too.. though I'm not really religious, it was kind of sad when he was raised up to the window and then he tried to speak but the words wouldn't come out..

Wow, when I saw this thread I instantly thought of the Family Guy Episode entitled...

"HOLY CRAP!" (Pun Intended)

Indeed I said "HOLY CRAP" this is nuts, he's da freakin' Pope.

The Pope was surviving on two tubes: a feeding and a breathing one... but I have heard a report stating his kidneys are failing and his strength is deteriorating... his final moments are coming to him...

He will be a loss to the church. So we should show some respect to him. (If you are christian of course)
