Well well well... I suppose the biggest news was what went on with LankyMan. I'm not really too keen on promoting this because essentially he was after attention, but it was a reasonably big event on that night... well for me anyways, because I was the one who had to stay up deleting his posts and stopping him from destroying other threads. Awell, that's the price I pay for actually being active I suppose. He went through a few name changes and some back-flips, before eventually calming down and disappearing. You can see some of his material here, and here. Most of the worst stuff (i.e when he was spamming "FUCKING JEWISH" and "JEWISH NIGGER" in threads I deleted) but yeah we may aswell just forgot all of that and move on

It might be a semi-controversial choice after what happened with ol' Lanko up there, but ignoring that he had me laughing a few times this week which is pretty difficult to do believe it or not, on the back of some good activity and good posts he wins this award. I'll elaborate more in the Power Rankings.

NLSC POWER RANKINGS
Please don't get offended or disappointed with this, if you do not only are you a bit sad for caring so much, but it's just a bit of fun. My opinions aren't necessarily the opinions of Andrew or the rest of the NLSC staff, if you have a problem take it up with me. Or don't. Also, this is just based on General Talk. Nowhere else.
1: JoeBuddah
Makes good quality posts, and plenty of them. Has become a top fixture on General Talk.
2: Matt
In the top 5 as far as activity goes. Is pretty funny and keeps the activity up, also a fixture from the old NLSC.
3: Jowe
Made one of my favourite comebacks this week, to LankyMan "do you and Dragon go to the same pre school?"
4: G.O.A.T
I've been saying for a while he's underrated, but finally G.O.A.T has stepped out of his shell a bit and become active. Congrats on the 1,000 too.
5: cklitsie
He's a quality poster who ventured more into General Talk this week than normal. Even if I annoy him on occassions, I do like seeing him post.
6: Najira
Gains most of his points on activity, and also boosting the posts in the Rock Thread. Has made big improvements since he first started posting here.
7: SkipToMy_Lou
Another Aussie who's stepped up and posts alot now. Mainly hangs around rap related threads, but I wont hold that against him. Much.
8: colin826
It's a shame he doesn't post more, but this week came around and was fairly active by his standards. Like ck, another quality poster.
9: The X
I think he's fairly underrated, and if he posts more often could definitely become a good addition to General Talk. Has a habit of making good posts about mostly anything.
10: Mazzocchi
Slipped a bit because he started 1 or 2 spam threads, one of which nearly got itself locked (not by me). Continues to improve though.
11: Drex
Another one I find underrated. For some reason whenever I see him post I think of some funny little guy from Mexico... even though he's not Mexican.
12: Wormy10
He's a strange one, in the sense that he's so on the fence that he seems to have hit a perfect balance between spammer and good poster... he's dead in the middle, which isn't a bad thing.
13: Jackal
Doesn't really post as often as he used to. If he did, he'd definitely be top 6 I'd imagine. Loses points for inactivity, but I still like seeing him post.
14: Gloveguy
Read above: is a fantastic poster but isn't really active over here. Prefers the more serious and thought provoking topics in NBA Talk.
15: Null17
Similar to the 2 above, if he posts more he'll get further up the list. Recently hit a 1 year milestone, so well done for that.
16: Andreas Dahl
He's a good poster and occassionally comes by here to help people, which is nice. It's good to have a helpful person around, in case people need... help. More activity = higher placing.
17: The Answer
Started posting a fair bit over the last day or so, so that snuck him onto the list. I didn't really like him to begin with but these days I've got no prob with him at all.
18: Riot
He's actually one of my favourites around here. I like seeing someone stir things up and annoy people. Would be higher if he was more active.
