Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Yeah a global databse edit would do nice.

There's bound to be a few of those broken links in old posts that link to other threads, including entries in the Wiki that still need to be updated.

The box when creating a thread title allows more characters than the forum will actually post.
My attempt at: EA Offers To "Save" Take Two (from outrageous GTA revenue!) fit in the box, but was cut off at "outrageous GT"

I'll have a look at that tomorrow, thanks for the heads up

I second that.
Specific word/author searches can't go past the date where the forum crashed/fixed sometime ago.

It will now cut off at 'GTA ' in both places.

It's somewhat fixed now (has been for a while)..
There's a few spots where it's a bit screwy still..
It was probably a result of a SQL error.
Either way, it's not there now..

My dynasty, on the second page, delete 4th and 5th post. They both have text ' SORRY, TRIPLEPOST, DELETE ! '

Took care of that, but the next time, post it in this thread:
http://www.nbaliveforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=22370 or send a PM to a moderator..

Sometimes in a thread, there is an extra page, in which there are no posts.

That error seems to occur every now and again with phpBB. It used to happen on our old host as well so I don't think it's the result of the move in 2004 or any of the recent work or updates.

That happens when there's a glitch in the Matrix.
To those who get that error, (I'm one of them) It's no biggie, just view the previous page.
It's not like that bug crashes the PC or logs a user out of the forum.

sometimes, when i click the "view posts since last visit" option.. i get 2-3 pages.. when i try to go to the last page, the matrix says that there were no topics that met the criteria.. and when i click the the "view posts since last visit" option again, and go to the last page, it works.. it is not that there were topics added.. but there really is a second or third page that contains maybe 20-30 topics.. so it isn't really caused by the recently added topics.. oh man, do anyone understand?..

i'm not really good at explaining..

I've noticed that the search function does that from time to time.
