I didn't feel it needed a big announcements as it's obvious EG has been given the position. I think EG's posting style and willingness to make a contribution to the forum speaks for itself. EG indicated that he'd be willing to accept the responsibility, I felt he was perfect for the position, so the decision was made.

I guess Andrew got tired of me messaging him about problem posts...

And the first thing I did was move a post...and somebody started yelling already. I guess some people always rail against authority figures...even if yesterday they weren't. Oh well...should be fun...and I look forward to helping the forum.

To be honest, I have considered offering you the position in the past, but I didn't think you'd be interested...until you expressed interested, of course. :wink:

And if there's one thing I've discovered since taking over webmaster/admin duties for the NLSC, it's that there are a select few who seem to have no problem with the moderating, until they're warned about something they did wrong. It's very hard to please everybody, so we just have to be as fair as we possibly can. That way, we should be able to please the majority. :wink:

Agreed, It's hard to be neutral, but I think EGarrett will be fine, I don't think many of us could be mods, since we expect mods/admins to be demi-god like. You don't expect a mod to be mock members etc, which does happen at justbball.com. Another person I think could handle the job (not saying he should become a mod) is Shane (Hefty) (Mr. Shane).
