... the girl of his dreams.
Here's the
link.
So what do you guys think? Is he's insane/creepy (although his picture suggests not) or he's, as some have put it, 'refreshingly sweet'?
Wed Nov 07, 2007 4:29 am
aw that's cute.
too bad it will get him no where
Wed Nov 07, 2007 4:44 am
That totally reminds me of that one time when one of the New York Met's pitchers (or was it Mets? An athlete from NY for sure) who saw a woman on the NY subway and later tried to find out who she was and hook up with her. New Yorkers...
I doubt the dude is going to have much success... that stuff is just too stalker-ish and creepy for a chick to dig. Unless she was creepy too.

Seems very stalker-ish... but New Yorkers... could happen.

He should have just talked to her when he had the chance.

That's what I'm saying. He even said they got off at the same stop. Why the hell would he not say hello at that point? Is it really that hard for some people to talk to women that they'd rather go this route then just a simple conversation?

All the girls I've showed this to are asking the same problem. Why didn't he go up to her...

ah well.

In a day and age where having sex with someone against their will is considered a crime, I can understand why.
Anyway, his explanation:

[vast minority opinion as far as I can tell]
How in the world can you tell if a girl is the "girl of your dreams" just by looking at her?
Are looks the only thing that matters these days? I for one would never brush somebody off that I found interesting just because they weren't a freaking supermodel, but I've never heard anyone in my entire life say anything that makes it sound like they share that opinion. Superficiality GRINDS MY GEARS.

Well, everybody has their own tastes. Some like big boobs, while others like small boobs, or tall girls, maybe skinny, etc. Maybe he saw that girl and it's the perfect girl for him, in looks. Maybe when he meets her he'll realize she's a slut or lesbian or wathever.
Now we're going to post how our perfect girl would be (guy for Axel and others), who wants to go first?

I honestly don't think I'd find out if a girl is the perfect (or as close to perfect as possilbe) girl unless I've actually talked to them. I guess my perfect girl goes beyond looks (whose doesn't?)... someone who you can always talk to, have the same interests, etc. Looks are important in that you don't want to be with someone that you are embarassed or can't even look at.
But yeh... bigkaboom is right, how can you call her the girl of your dreams just by looking at her.

What I meant was that everyone has their ideal choice of a significant other in terms of looks. For example, I've always said that I like short girls, with dark hair, with a normal body, etc, etc (think of Salma Hayek). Now, does that mean that I would instantly fall in love for a girl that meets those thigs I said earlier? Probably yes, but that's because I'm stupid. The thing is, none of the girls I've been with were like that, because of course you have to meet them and get along. It's not that hard to understand, right?

I disagree, it's more fun when your couple is completely different from you. Look at me and Jackal, he's so muscular and I'm getting fatter every day, and we're better than ever.

Though I really don't care about this particular situation, I can say from personal experience that it is totally possible to fall in love on first sight. It doesn't (at least for me it didn't) have anything to do with the girl looking like a supermodel, or being the absolute epitome of what I deem attractive, but rather about the "aura", if you will, that seemed to emanate in all directions from her. She was the type of person who makes you happy simply by being in her presence, and the first time we locked eyes, I almost passed out. That is something that has never happened to me from any other girl, even those who were much more attractive, both conventionally and by my own standards. Granted, I thought she was incredibly beautiful, but it was so much more than that. As flaky as it sounds, it was her aura, our immediately identifiable chemistry, that I instantly fell for.
Contrary to the guy in question, I actually went and spoke to her, and we ended up dating for 2 and a half years, and I still regret that it ended to this day. This all came from that first moment our eyes met, and I knew in that moment that we loved (or would grow to love) each other. So just because you've never experienced it, doesn't mean it can't happen, or that when it does it is rooted in superficiality.
However, if I hadn't personally experienced it, I too would be pretty skeptical, I think.

So the whole ordeal is on news now:

Nothing really special about that chick imo, except that she looks a bit crazy herself... then again, beauty is in the eye of it's beholder I guess.

Hehe, I kinda expected "more". Well, good for them, I guess.
