I always wanted my appendix out so I could keep it in a jar on a shelf somewhere. And then my brother actually got appendicitis, and asked to take his home in a jar, and they won't let you. Which is lame, cause it's your damn appendix, and it's not like the medical community needs appendixes for research or anything.

I want preserved organs in a jar!

Also, the worm-shaped organ outgrowth acts like a bacteria factory, cultivating the good germs, Parker said.

That use is not needed in a modern industrialized society, Parker said.

I remember when they thought the appendix was used to store food for survival.

So, we don't need an appendix in todays society? What's going to happen when computers become more powerful than our brain and they are "not needed?" Organic upgrades?

And some humans will probably ask to be converted to cyborgs, which will generate a divide betweem the true humans and converted humans. The classification and segregation of humans and converted humans will result in a great war.

I will definitely kill you guys when I get my sweet robot body.

Yes, I took the concept from Sealab 2021 (adultswim).

A war between humans and "manufactured" humans is a bit reminiscent of Blade Runner too.
