I'm so glad I listened to gamers' complaints and didn't buy PS3 Madden at launch date this year.

After what happend with NBA Live 07 and now this, it is safe to say It will be a long time before I buy another EA game without hearing lots of reviews after the release date.

I'm shocked ea has dropped the ball this badly especially with there most popular sports title. wtf are they doing over there. lots of companies release yearly games and never have such glaring problems.

hmmm i had madden 08 for xbox 360 and i didnt think it was that bad. I only had one out of say 20 games that had any lag at all. The reason why i sold it was because it seemed easier to score a TD on an interception return then to hit my WR on a toss. I literally scored at least 1 INT TD a game. But another thing was that i totally sucked online. Then i tried franchise and killed teams in pre season, then the first game of the season i got stomped. Plus it didnt help i had 4 fumbles in the first half.

I dont know if this has been posted before, dont come here that often, but this guy seemed pretty pissed at madden 08.

Curse EA and their NFL exclusive license... 2k was catching up too. Caught up enough to force EA to buy an exclusive license. Last Madden I've enjoyed was Madden 2004 with Mr. Bad Newz Kennel on the cover, and the last time I've played Madden was Madden 06... HUGE difference between that and Madden 04 imo... I enjoyed Madden 04 much more. Definitely good to see more and more consumers actually getting their voices heard... monopolistic companies like EA and THQ that dominate certain genre's (Sports and Wrestling respectively) need to seriously get a rude awakening.

Medal of Honor: Airborne was also kind of a flop. I am never pre-ordering an EA or buying an EA game on release again.

Madden 05 was the awesomecakes. It was about the only game where EA was level with 2K during the short rivalry, although I liked Madden 01 as well.

hahaha, most of those glitches are for the "popular" 360 and PS3, I got no glitches that they've listed playing it on PC, + the game costs less on PC.

yes, but you do realize that ps3/360 and ps2/xbox/pc Maddens are quite different, starting with Current/Next Gen.

Yes, I am aware that the current and last gen Maddens are different. I was led to believe the PC was a last gen version, and those did not escape bugs either. I was asking if any bugs related to the PS2/Xbox version applied to the PC version.
