Anyone want 3,000+ basketball cards lol? I don't even want to list them, no one else seems to be able to sell any huge collections.

Yeah, eBay has really ruined the market for trading cards. The market is absolutly flooded.
Sat Sep 22, 2007 10:20 am
its because people list them all seperatly, like their whole 2000000000 card collection in single listings

ebay can be a dangerous thing if you get addicted. i was in to buying authentic nba jerseys for cheap a while back. i started to buy jerseys for teams i dont even like just because they were cheap. i got a Ben Gordon authentic throwback for $40.

Andrew's going to be rolling in his grave when he reads that, given that he's probably dropped dead after his credit card bill at NBA Store in NY

ahh well, such is life....

It's all paid off now without a cent of interest.

That said, I'm envious. $40 for an authentic is a steal.

You sound a bit like me....pay for everything on credit & get points but pay it off within the 55 days....

I'm planning on buying a (cheap) guitar + amplifier on eBay, but I'm a bit lost. Has anyone ever bought anything over 300$ on eBay? Is it safe?
I bought some posters earlier this year but I'm pretty sure it's not the same thing.

It may sound a bit obvious, but just make sure you buy from a seller with good feedback. Sellers with good feedback, especially those who sell in high volume, would rather take a bullet to the knee than receive a negative feedback. Don't pay with cash or check, Paypal (though it's a corrupt and BS service) is always the safest route.

Yeah that's how I use my credit card, the only thing I consistently use it for is to pay the monthly Foxtel bill and then bpay out of my savings account.

I use my credit card for almost everything....that's how I just got a Nintendo DS Lite, using all my credit card points over the last couple of years

Last time I used eBay was four years ago. I bought a Lacoste polo and that's about it.
Thinkin' about going back to eBay.

I never bought of ebay. Since I'm not really sure I would want things to be shipped across the globe. I did buy things on similar sites like ebay and I always got what I wanted. I got a few good deals too. Bought a Lebron jersey for like 10 euros and a few nike, addidas, puma, and1 things for a cheap prize.

I only use it when I know I've got the cash to cover it (or in some cases, will have the cash after my next pay goes into my account).
