I can't seem to stay logged in on the forums, no matter what computer I'm using. I've tried on my home PC, my girlfriend's, my computer at my desk at work, and the public computer at work... wondering if there might be something screwy going on for anyone else. The cookie settings, etc are all fine. :?

Apart from the cookie/privacy settings and always logging in from http://www.nbaliveforums.com, the only other thing I can think of would be third party firewall software or possibly even anti-spyware software restricting access to or blocking the cookie. Nothing's changed as far as the site/forum is concerned.

yeah for some reason, http://nbaliveforums.com doesn't log you in automatically but http://www.nbaliveforums.com does.

that would be my guess to solving your problem.

Ahhh...didn't see this thread. I've been experiencing exactly the same thing. Every other forum auto-login works fine except this one, and it seems to work in IE and Opera but not Firefox.

I go to the login page, type my info, and hit submit and it brings me right back to the login page again with the fields empty most of the time. It seems completely random whether it logs me in or not.

That's quite odd, as I said before nothing's changed from this end. The only things that come to mind are cookie/security settings (both in the browser and third party software) and the use of http://nbaliveforums.com rather than http://www.nbaliveforums.com.

Happens to me too but I found out I stay logged in if I enter the forums via the main page, nba-live.com, and just clicking Forums.

I have firefox and I stay logged in, though I do use the www prefix. The only times I get logged out is if I clear all my private data in firefox. I have cookies and saved passwords unchecked in the clear private data settings, although I still end up logged out after doing that and returning. Maybe the "authenticated sessions" has something to do with it. The only other thing that I can think of that makes me "logged out" is if an update was applied to the forum code.

I can only log in about half of the time on Firefox...I'm sure all my cookie settings are fine. Don't really know what it is, but I suppose I'll just use IE. Maybe the IETab Firefox extension now that I think about it.

As I've explained in the past, the site is subject to slow-downs at certain times which will pass.

Thanks, everything's alright as far as I can tell. A lot of people are much worse off so I guess I can't complain.

I'm not sure what else to suggest that hasn't already been posted. The server is a bit erratic at the moment, which should hopefully be fixed up soon.
