Can Anyone suggest any good MMOs that are free and around 200-300 mb?
Tue May 01, 2007 11:14 pm
Guild Wars is free to play, but it takes more space than 300 mb.

Isn't there some sort of subscription with GW?
Wed May 02, 2007 2:13 am
No. When you buy one of the games, you get an account, and then you can play. But they make expansion packs every half year, with new worlds and everything, and if you want that content, you will have to pay for a new game. BTW, NCSoft just announced a Guild Wars 2, which isnt going to be an expansion, but a whole new game, with new graphics and gameplay

When you say free, do you mean completely free, or no recurring subscription fee?
Wed May 02, 2007 10:02 pm
You have to buy the game, so i guess you can say subscription free

I really enjoy Guild Wars.

Unfortunately
Donatello didn't agree. I haven't played it in a while, probably because I was trying to build up a monk for farming purposes when I absolutely despise playing monk.

Don't play Ragnarok, it's a pretty stupid game that strays students out of academics.

"MASSIVE"?

I'd rather play Battle City

Old-skool! Yeah! I finished that game, I think it was up to stage 255 or 256 then the maps start over again. I wonder if there's a multiplayer game for Battle City on the 'net so we could team-up and play Lean.

I remember the ninja map, then I usually fool my younger brother to shoot "The Falcon"

They have it on Next-Gen consoles

Bring it on, I'd live to mash the Turbo A button again

I just want to quote that and ask if you know what MMO means.
I want to add to earlier discussion of Guild Wars- I got a new computer (top-of-the-line) a couple months ago and tried out Guild Wars again (Because, yes, once you buy it, it's free- no monthly charges)... it's much better. I think my final review is that it's pretty damn good for being free, but if you don't have a really good computer, forget about it.
WoW is honestly the best, but (And I am allowed to say this because I have finally quit- haven't played in almost 4 months)... DO NOT START. If you get into it (really get into it), it really screws you up.
