I found some games: Splinter Cell and Hitman

Have you played Hitman: Blood Money and Splinter Cell: Double Agent or just the earlier ones? Can't go wrong with the two franchises you mentioned.

Some say SC isnt good...

I've played through both of them. SC has some issues on the PC, but it's quite playable (unless you don't have a Shader Model 3.0 graphics card, in which case it won't run at all). I thought Blood Money was a fantastic game, despite the lack of multiplayer.

Well the unreleased game youre talking about could be Assassins Creed thats coming out for the PS3. I dono thats the first thing i thought of when I read your post, I actually don't even know if its the same type of game.

HAHA, Jugs. I played that, shot the driver, the secret service men, and the cops. Whats great is they give you the replay with the same camera angle that was used in real life.

Hitman Blood Money is a great game. I've played through it like four times already.
Thief: Deadly Shadows is also good, having recently replayed it. I wouldn't call it an assassin game, but you can definitely play it like one, with the stealth element and all.

I've got hitman: bloody money is i really liked it. I couldn't get past the last level (i suck at video games though) but it was great while it lasted.
