I had Mayweather 118-110, but everyone I talked to thinks it was close. Oscar only landed two or three decent shots the entire fight, mostly opting to swing wildly at Floyd every time they were near the ropes. Mayweather, however, peppered him with jabs for 10 of 12 rounds and won easily in my opinion.

Mayweather paced himself better and was more precise with his jabs. Oscar just came out swinging.

I think they made it a split decision to cover the bets. Mayweather won the fight handily. Oscar was never in it. Mayweather denied him the left hook and that was the end of it.

I was hoping the Golden Boy would win in decision, but Mayweather is really good, no losses, gratz!

I heard there was some confusion over the judges and the scores.

I think it's the end for Oscar. Was it a title match? I haven't seen it

I thought the fight was fairly close and would love to see a rematch, maybe sometime in the fall or winter.

Oscar says he might fight again. Mayweather claims he is going to "ride off into the sunset." But I really doubt Mayweather is done for good. I don't think he could resist another fight with Oscar...or the millions and millions that go with it.

It was for Oscar's WBC Junior Middleweight Title, and for some reason the crowd thought Mayweather was the champion, and started cheering when Michael Buffer said "And NEW....".

I thought Oscar won that fight. He was the champion yet he was aggressive during the fight.
Mayweather did put up an excellent display of boxing but he was the challenger, and displayed less aggressiveness opting to box defensively (but brilliantly btw) or react against DeLa Hoya's advance.
I usually see the challenger losing a match, when it comes to a decision, when he fights 'passively'.
