Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

I think cooking a meal for her is one of the best things you can do.
You're a fool for buying her a card though!
I don't know about being a fool. It's not the card man, it's what's written in it. Provided it's not the cheesey, generic crap that 95% of guys come up with, then it's worth opening your heart out to it.
But yeah, I think she enjoyed the stick man pictures I drew on the envelope better anyway. Nothing like a stick man, stick woman, a stick dog, a stick house, 3 suns & some random comments from the stick people to make any Valentine's Day brighter

That's what Hallmark would have wanted.

no, no, no....I don't mean what Hallmark writes in the card, no one reads that....I mean what I write in the card....I don't know about everyone else, but you don't buy a card that says"
"To ....
Hallmark moment
Love X"
No one does that....maybe I'm confused, I just mean writing something meaningful on the blank side of card....ahh well, doesn't matter, maybe it's just me

I wasn't referring to the message in the card. I'm sure your message is wonderful. I was referring to the fact of giving money to Hallmark on a "holiday" they made up. It's against everything i stand for dammit!

okay, haha....yeah, I think most guys hate Valentine's Day because it seems to be a day when guys are "guilted" into giving money to florists and card makers

I went to the only place I know: Target Center. Saw my Wolves beat the Denver Nuggets. It was sweet.
