well as far as vacuums go, I think Hoover & Oreck are the best brands. They all seem to be very similar like you said, so all I can say it get a bagless one

I was looking at this Silver Quartz Hoover and it sounds good but then I asked the person at Sears and they said you need to replace the filter about once every 3-4 months (filter cost $30). I told her forget that model and I started looking at some other models. I saw this brand new Bissell that they just got in for about $129.99. It is bagless just like the Hoover but the filter isn't directly in the compartment so it doesn't get as filthy. Plus, I heard those filters are cheaper than the Hoover ones.

I'm kind of stuck on what one to get. I'm thinking the Bissell one but my mind is telling me I get what I pay for and there has to be a reason why this one is $40 cheaper or so.

Yes, I will be giving my mother a vaccum for Christmas. I think it's a good idea considering our current vaccum is a complete piece of shit.

Dyson is the best kind, but I'm not sure how much they cost.

I'm not working right now, so I'm going scrooge and not giving out gifts this year. Nice to know that I am getting the new Wade shoes for xmas though. Never imagine I'd be excited over clothes 10 years ago...

Woman Accused in Christmas Card Pot Plot

JAY, Okla. (AP) - Police arrested a woman after finding marijuana in a Christmas card she tried to give her jailed boyfriend. Dawn E. Smith, 44, of Grove, was arrested in connection with the incident at the Delaware County Jail.

She is accused of trying to distribute a controlled substance and bringing a controlled substance into a jail.

Her boyfriend, Steven McRae Jones, 26, pleaded guilty on Nov. 1 to charges that he repeatedly rammed Smiths car and took a swing at the arresting officer.

He is awaiting transport to the Department of Corrections, where he will serve four years.
