NLSC Forum

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Pretty much everything you do at a forum is an action. Not just banning or moderator moves. Everything you say on the forum, even though it's just text, has intention behind it. Which to me makes your decision to follow that intention, an action.

Jackal's quote of 'they're just words' seems silly to me aswell on a website where words are everything, but whatever. I spose i just have keyboard diorhea (i really gotta learn how to spell that).

People who make spelling/grammar correction posts are not allowed to omit punctuation and proper capitalization. :P

This is slightly off-topic, but for the Hardwood Classics section maybe we could take applications from the general posting public to find another mod for that? I don't want to see it just die, and I'm sure there's some non-mod who'd be quite enthusiastic and such about doing it. Although they wouldn't be able to move threads come to think of it. Maybe they could be in charge of that section, and just give a list of the threads to one of the global mods to move them for him.

does it have to be one particular guy?there's a nomination thread already, the mods could just check that and move whatever they see as worthy.

When I was modding that section, 70% of the threads that were moved were done of my own accord... the nomination thread isn't used all that much, but it'd be good to have a more proactive mod who will think of threads to move himself just to keep the section active.
