How stupid is that? He had one of his worst seasons stat wise this past year and he is like 37. Hmm I guess now there like NBA Live 07, by having a scrub cover athlete.

Maybe he has a contract or something that makes him a coverboy for multiple seasons, like Allen Iverson was before him...? I have nothing against it, and who actually gives a shit who's on the cover.

Yea, how could you say Shaq is a scrub? Even in his decline he's still rated by people and fantasy wise as one of the top 3 centers in the NBA.

The cover boy for NBA Live 07 is Tracy Mcgrady, and he's anything BUT a scrub. Mcgrady has been playing with an injured back for a while now, and he's been putting up MVP caliber stats.

NBA Live cover athletes from 2000+
2000 Tim Duncan
2001 Kevin Garnett
2002 Steve Francis
2003 Jason Kidd
2004 Vince Carter
2005 Carmelo Anthony
2006 Dwayne Wade
2007 Tracy Mcgrady

And can you explain why Live has a line of scrub athletes on their cover? Aside from Francis and Anthony, the rest of the coverboys for Live are all and still the league's top players.

The more I look at it the more I think its fake. For instance...

Image

Look at the stripes or whateva comin out the middle to on the sides. There's 5 solid, more visible ones on each side of the player, but if you look at this NBA 2k7 cover, it's not quite the same.

The 2K series had Iverson on the cover for like 4 years so I guess this isn't too much of a surprise looking at it now.

I dont think its too bad to take Shaq, I mean he won the title with the Heat (okay, Wade was better, but without Shaq, no title) and is still a superstar if you go for publicity and fame.

dude dont do true or false questions...it purely is asking for 1-word spam posts. and dont post in caps either.

getting back on topic, this is probably going to be shaqs last cover appearance on a video game.

What the hell does that have to do with the topic at hand?

If you have a question like this, I wouldn't just cram it into a random thread. Make your own, but I doubt that even that would be a good idea considering that true or false questions usually bring about terrible, one-word spam posts from posters anyway like cwebbiverson already said.

Please don't encourage him to make his own threads. God knows it's bad enough having him post in other peoples threads.
