Transformers movie trailer - more than meets the eye

I have a feeling it'll be very kiddish but heck how can I abandon the chance to see the Transformers movie. That car looks awesome, I just hope they make up a decent storyline and try not to feature little kids going 'You Rock' and 'I wanna be like you' all the time.

I wanna see a new TMNT movie done too. Bring back the classics!

I hope they'll add that transformation sound from the cartoon series. That was cool. I can't imagine what the storyline will be, though. How can they look like cars and planes if they're from outer space? It works for a cartoon, but not for a legit movie.

If you watched the initial episodes of the original Transformers cartoon, all of them looked "out of this world" when they transformed. The ship's advanced computer where the Decepticons and Autobots fought, while it crash landed to earth, somewhat modified them when they were all unconscious after the crash so that they can have a disguise in the inhabited planet they came upon.

Maybe the writers can cook something a bit similar about them changing their original transformations so they can disguise and assimilate themselves and invade/protect earth.

There's videos floating around on the official site (and google video) of Optimus Prime and Star Scream transforming. It looks pretty cool but could use a bit of work I think.
