Best Lan Game for PC's

I got a network set up at home with 3.0 gig Pentium Four's and with 256MB Graphics cards and 1gig RAM.

I was just wondering what would be the best LAN game for me to buy.
I want one similar to Counter Strike.

Any Suggestions?

I have Quake and me and my cousin or brother play it whenever we have the time.
It's an awesome game.

Yeah but what's the lastest Quake out and do they still sell Unreal?

Quake 4 is the latest if I'm not mistaken.

Red Faction

i used to play red faction over the internet all the time

for less people a first person shooter is always better, but battlefield 2 is great as well.
