Watch topic / Topic doesn't exist problems

When I click "watch this topic" at the bottom of a thread, I never receive emails about new posts, nor do I get a confirmation that I am now watching the topic. Same thing goes for "stop watching this topic", but I do get a confirmation if I click the link in an email.

Another thing, I've had weird problems with a couple threads that I have been watching(that I posted in) after 7 or so pages I click the link in the email and it sais the topic does not exist. I thought this might be because the thread starter had changed the subject of their original post, but I don't believe it to be so.

I have tried firefox and IE. I have cookies enabled. I tried disabling my firewall, virus scan, etc. Any ideas?

That's an odd one. Is anyone else experiencing that problem?

I haven't been able to use the 'Watch/Stop Watching this topic for replies' for like a year..
And yea, I also get the 'topic does not exist' message from time to time.. It's no biggie tho.
