Dean's Photoshop Stuff [1st Photoshop Attempt Ever]

Ok, well after browsing the Photoshop thread i decided i'd have a go at making my own sig. Its the first time ive used Photoshop for anything other than Rugby League 2 Mods lol, so thats why its not very good. Anyways, criticism is encouraged, and hopefully this is the first of many Photoshopping things.

I wanted to make a World Cup sig, so i found a picture of Germany, then threw in Harry Kewell for the Australian side of things, and heres the final result:

Destination: Germany

Not bad, could use abit more effects on the background (colour balance etc.)

Pretty good for a beginner

I have absolutely no idea what colour balance would do, nor how to do it.

Haha, that's what I said when I first got told to do it.

You can find it.... (opens up Photoshop)

Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Colour Balance

I think you have to work on the text, it's too plain... Also the effect on the pic (lowered opacity) doesn't fit with the background. Overall it's pretty good for a first try.

It looks promising, but try playing around with a bunch of effects and see what you get. And Srbija, I think you could take that advide as well, seems like most of your sigs all use one fairly simple effect matched with a poor quality photo. No offense, just trying to help.
