Site add-on suggestion

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Site add-on suggestion

Well Andrew, you say you're always open to suggestion...so here's one i thought of on the crapper today...

I was thinking that it would be really handy if you added a 'submit request' section on the site.
That way, when you're looking for a certain cyberface (or jersey or whatever) and its not there...you can submit a request that patch makers like me can view.
It's also handy to patch makers who are out of ideas to patch and we can get an idea of what the public want most.

Isn't that what the 'patch requests' section is for?

As Colin said, that's basically the idea of the Patch Request forums. Adding another section for requests would be superfluous.

That means only forum members can make requests, there are thousands of people who arent members of the forum, and this way is more efficient because they don't ahve to do much...they can either vote on an existing cyberface or make a new submit a new reuqest for people vouch for.

It would be so handy, and efficient.

Where would you propose a Submit Request form would be delivered?

It's not a delivery thing, hmm, i dunno how i explain it, i have a vision in my head of what it would be like though...

You'd click on the submit request link, then you would come to a form like the submit download form. it would ask for the pach request name, and patch type (cyberface, jersey, court, shoes, etc.) then you hit submit and it would just post it on a page and if a patch has the same name then it would add 1 vouch to it. (the more vouches a patch has the more obvious it is that it's wanted by the public) Another thing you could do instead of submitting one you can just vouch for an existing one. you'd go to view requests, then click on it and vouch for it.

In the NBA Live 2003 section, you could place a link somewhere in the nav menu. (Y)

It's a good idea, but it still seems a little gratuitous to have that in addition to the Patch Requests forum.
