To me, the forum vigilante is what makes this forum boring to me nowadays, I can not have fun without seeing some random NLSC veteran who joined in May 2005 (yes  ) telling others what to do.

Well, at least I have a life and don't have five fucking thousand posts in one year. This forum is beginning to turn into a joke.

And then I get flamed for stuff for no apparent reason...yet I admit my mistake. Then these people just are 'accepted'.

Then leave. It's basically no different than when you first joined. If anything it's better. Just because you act stupider doesn't mean everyone else is changing.

And what a nice person you are.

<sigh> Boys, take it outside please. In this thead, from now on, only pink fluffy bunnies, love, and unicorns. And cotton candy.

I'm as nice as you are optimistic.

I don't think you guys kinda understood the Good Post thing... it only has "Good Post" there is no "Bad Post" option so it's not like karma at .org or anything. The thing is at the other forum they also have a forum money system and it costs you like 150 to give someone a good post, but there'd definitely be ways to stop people abusing it.

Then go for it (y)

And why is every thread turning into a needless debate, seriously someone pops up and says something to someone for no real reason and the thread (sometimes a good one) gets ruined. People should really mind their own business more often than not and not just try stir up a flame war or pick on someone they know they can easily out debate. I'm no perfect or maybe not even a good poster but at a time when the NLSC is coming into question I'd expect the more senior and respectable members (at least the ones I have some respect for) to be more mature about things.

Honestly, why does it matter? A post count shouldn't matter.. what does it prove? Who has more time to waste posting on the forum? You can't expect everyone to act intelligent, and bitching about others looks even worse.

Play nice children. :scold:

You can be part of a forum for 5 years and still be a crap contributor compared to someone who joined 6 months ago.

I consider a veteran somebody that possesses both qualities, good contributor and part of a forum for a while. I just found it funny how he had "NLSC Veteran" in his custom title when he's like 14.

Well, at least I have a life and don't have five fucking thousand posts in one year. This forum is beginning to turn into a joke.

Attacking post counts is the first sign of defeat. If the forum is turning into a joke, then leave.

Now that I think more about the good post mod, it could be a good expermiment. I think it would be better if only moderators were allowed to give the points though.

In what seemed like a resourceful thread, you pick fights. What a loser. I won't comment further.

Sun May 28, 2006 1:05 pm

Well, I don't like to sound like a 10 year old, but you started it.

Sun May 28, 2006 1:14 pm

Hey man, I didn't mean to incite you or anything, but you've just got to chill.

You did something that was a little...well 'stupid', and you got called on it. Just laugh it off and keep moving. I think you've got the misconception that people are attacking you, when they're just attacking what you've done. I have no problem with you, you've been cool until like a few days ago. But when you post something that's a little lacking in judgement over overstepping your boundaries so to speak, expect to get called on it.

And there ain't nothing wrong with a little argument/flame here and there. Even in the best of relationships there are arguments and pointless name-calling, so to say that all of a sudden NLSC should be happy-peace-land seems a little silly. They've always happened here, even in the so-called 'good' times.

Yeah, the last 30 days must've given you plenty of insight

The good old days were built around flame wars, not these pussy love tiffs people have now :x

It's all about diplomacy and "the love" now.
We love you Jae. You know it.
