An odd display.

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

An odd display.

A friend sent it to me on MSN, she doesn't know where the picture is taken though. I don't think it looks fake.

I searched it through Google, it's San Diego Naval Base. So an US Government building with a shape of a nazi symbol. :scold:

Just for the sake of trivia...back in high school in Modern History we saw a documentary that revealed historians had discovered that Hitler adopted the design for the Swastika from a symbol that appeared in a church he attended as a child, a variation on the traditional Christian cross. So while that shape has come to represent evil, it wasn't always intended that way.

Indeed it is, the symbol that's used at my grandmom's usually has dots in it though. It's basically the same thing, but it has dots in it.

Like that. Don't know what the dots serve for, but I could find out if anyones that interested.

I guess it is, though Hitler wasn't a Hindu and the church they showed was definitely dedicated to a Christian faith.
