Ok I made a video and I edited it with Windows Movie Maker. How can I change the type of file it is so it doesn't open with WMM but with WMP.

Try Ctrl+P (I think).

Did you export the video? Because if you just save it in MM, it will only save the project, not the actual video. Ctrl+P is correct.
