is it good
Um...
Anyways some constructive critisism I guess...
1: I'm not sure why a cartoon of his head is floating around in the middle (well it's not the middle, it's slightly off to the left) of the wall, but it doesn't look good.
2: The background is bad. The brush you used is too harsh, kinda hurts the eyes a bit.
3: The pics for whatever reason seem to be see through at the sides, so like you can see through the edges of his arms. I don't know if this is feather related but again, not good.
4: The blue thing through the middle doesn't make sense, I'm not sure what it is or what relevance it has to Mike James, the Raptors or basketball in general.
5: The text is bad, not only is it blurry and messy it's just kinda ugly.
There's more but I'd rather just get onto what you could do to improve...
1: Don't go straight to huge wallpapers. Try making some big sigs first, like 500x300 size sigs. That way you'll get used to using the space on the page
2: Work on your text and keep it simple, don't do anything fancy because it'll probably look shit.
3: Make sure you have some decent sized pictures of the guy you're trying to make the wall of. It's obvious you didn't have any of Mike James and the graphic looks really bad as a result.
4: Don't feather your cuts
5: Pick a colour scheme and try to stick with it... in that picture there's blue, red, yellow, white, black, purple and it doesn't work. Pick maybe 2 or 3 dominant colours and try to stick with them.
6: Don't brush your wallpapers until you learn how to brush properly. Stick with solid colours, if you can find a high res pic of a stadium or something and fade it into the background. Either way, just learn how to brush on smaller things first.
Go check out game-renders.com or westcoastremix.com (or whatever the real URL's are) they have good tutorials.
