you have to remember that NZ support most of the sports in the Commonwealth Games....there's not the infrastructure for sports like swimming (nor the climate either), athletics, table tennis, boxing, etc, etc....

unless it's rugby union, netball or cricket, you're essentially screwed

yep, they decided to copy Australia's on-going policy of recruiting talent from worldwide

I don't rate how AB's take players like Rokococo etc from surrounding islands....as for players like all the Samoans etc, they all tend to grow up their entire lives in NZ (Auckland mostly) so you could argue that they're Kiwis, just like you could argue that someone like Carmichael Hunt can now play for Queensland & Australia
