to argue calls just go to the manager options at the bottom it has an option to argue the call. never argue ball and strikes thats an auto ejection.

Has anyone when batting get lucky breaks. im playing with seattle and i was playing the yanks i hit a soft bouncer towards 1st base and i had man on 2nd and 1st the yanks 1st baseman was playing in. i think it was lyle overbay he was playing in and the ball bounce right over his head and i was able to score from 2nd. that same game i hit a bullet at Jeter with Ichiro, Jeter dropped it and took about 4 tries for him to pick up the ball and that allowed me to score another run.

Last year, for the first time I bought a baseball game. Baseball is one of the most boring game to me compared to basketball and football because of the low scoring/points accumulated throughout the game.

Anyways, MVP 2004 was great, I love the legends players and classics stadium. Have they added more legends players this year?

Is anyone still playing this game? It is a testament to a product being created by its developers with a whoel lotta love. Uncharacteristic for for the EA behemoth, but I'll take it.

Now , for those of you who are still playing it, what is your experience with knuckleballers?

If I'm using Wake, I go 8 innings with 2-3 runs tops.

If I'm playing against him and I'm trying to hit him, fat chance. Even if I get wood on the ball, it's usually an easy out...

I've got 2004; I find it really easy to hit the knuckball, and fairly easy for them to hit it if you sequence the pitches wrong.

Try that in 2005 with Wakefield... or better yet, Hhoyt Vilhelm on the Legends team... believe me, that thing is unhittable, even with hitter's eye turned on...

I have both 2004 and 2005. 2005 is much harder to hit in general(even with the hitter's eye). In my Cubs dynasty 2004, Derek Lee hit 100+ homeruns in MVP difficulty, whereas in 2005 I'm nowhere near there. The knuckleball is really hard to hit. Maybe they should make it really difficult to get it done perfectly or something.
