Autistic kid J-Mac tears it up in the last 3 minutes...

Postby -BHZMAFIA- on Fri Feb 24, 2006 10:54 pm

J-mac (his nickname), an autistic senior in HS got in for 3 mintues in the final home game of the year and scored 20 points in 3 minutes. If you want to see the video, go to CNN.COM and on the right side of the page there is a box that has videos in it. Scroll down to "J-mac's hoop dream come true."

He actually got the school crunk probably for the first time in years

Yeah I saw that  he's the school celebrity now apparentely. Good for him, though the coach is probably a bit pissed off that he never got more minutes.

Awesome for an autistic kid.

Go Jmac now they should think about a school position in the team.

Hopefully he can make it to the NBA someday

Edit: Was he the school waterboy also? I was watching Channel 10 in Sydney, Australia and the newsreaders of the 5:00 news said that but it wasn't mentioned in that video link to google.

Update: He wasn't. Bloody incompetent idiots. they got mixed up coz in the american media they were saying jmac's story is equivalent to a story of a waterboy getting called up and doing something special for a team but to repeat he wasnt a waterboy. Goddamn it again they suck these jurnos. I get quite edgey when the Australian media reports anything basketball related. If u need examples check out the Bogut Watch thread in nba talk. Also j-mac's family has hired an attorney to manage a deal from hollywood.

btw links for j-mac

story itself and evidence he's not a waterboy

no like just saying how impressive if a waterboy got called up and had to play and played well.

Most autistic persons have one talent or skill that they're good at. In J-Mac's case, it's basketball. 8-)
