Some variations of a Melo one:





I know theyre fair dodge..im open to any criticism and advice

Should i add text to this Iverson one?

I'd give them a 5.8 I don't know too much about Photoshop, but I guess you can do more with Melo

It looks like they where made in paint?

If they wherent and made in photoshop, then please cut out the picture of Carmelo with the Penn tool or the Lasso tool. Then make a better background because you can barley see it. Once you do that put the pic of carmelo on there and maybe if you want do an effect. And also your text sucks You gotta do something with it like blend it or mess around with the layers.

But for a first sig made in photoshop ill give it a 2/10?

He doesn't need to cut the pic. Other than quality the second one doesn't look too bad. He may not have done a lot to it, but it fits.

Important first step, you know how to match colours. Something this site isn't good at. Check the Resource thread here and the Tutorial thread for some tips. And when you do start checking out tutorials, remember that they're just guidelines. And try not to just take all the 'cool effects' you can find and stick them in one sig. Simple is best at the start.

That explains a lot.

The text in v1 doesn't fit at all and the blues are way off. The font choice in v2 is good.

Oh, and if you want a rating out of 10.

For a first sig: v1 - 5/10, v2 - 6.5/10
For a sig in general: v1 - 3/10, v2 - 5/10

Well you always or atleast most of the time gotta addd text. Its your best sig by far but still to plain and boring

But like a 4/10 but you getting better!
