[PS2] SNES Station help!!!!!!

If anybody has SNES Station, then I need you to help me out on this, please. Ok so I downloaded like a set of SNES roms, and burnt them onto a DVD-R. And played them on my PS2 using SNES Station. But the problem is the file name of the rom (ex: 2020 Super Baseball (U) [b1].smc) got changed and in the ROMS menu (in SNES Station), the rom name got changed to 2020_SUP, and it's real annoying and I can't tell which game is which with the names shortened, cut off and stuff. I tried so many things, but none worked, so if anybody can help me, please do so.

Shorten the names to something you know, or put them as like 001-1000 and then type down the code and then the name next to it so you have a reference list.

I don't think this is illegal...I think it's just like Abandonware: the game's license has expired so you can use it for more than one day/download it absolutely free and legally

Of course this isn't legal. It's not like abandonware because Nintendo still makes money off remakes and will make money off them. One of the biggest selling points of the Revolution is the ability to download games from past nintendo systems (all the way to NES). So this is illegal for sure. Any emulation is somewhat illegal I believe. I don't know how this is different from abandonware but whatever. I'm sure it's illegal.

Emulating is only legal when you have a legal copy of the game (e.g. I have NBA Jam Tournament Edition so i'm legally allowed to have that as a rom)
