Default Settings?

Does anyone know what the default settings for the magnetic lasso tool are? I think I changed one and everything I cut out now looks wrong...

Dont use the lasso tool. Use the Pen tool.

I was looking into that on these forums, but the only tutorial I could find seemed incomplete so I gave up. Besides, I plan on blending in the edges enough that I won't need that kind of precision.

Mods can lock this up btw. I found a tutorial which lets me know when I should use what settings so that default settings are no longer important to me.

The pen tool can suck my dick. I hate that thing, you can get similar results with the lasso tool as long as you're not a complete moron.

You've got a lot more control with the pen tool. And you can curve lines, move points, and do functions to the line you've drawn. About a million times better.

I tend to make my cut outs much smaller before I put them into the sig so it's not quite as noticable.

You can do all of that if you're good enough with the lasso tool. I don't have any square edges on curved areas on anything I've made. Actually I've cut out circles (i.e balls) with the lasso tool before. It's not that hard.

It's harder with the lasso, and it also does nothing but make a selection. The pen tool is slightly more versatile in making a selection, and lets you do a lot of other stuff as well.
