I'm not too sure on the cell part but as for telling yesterday before he died, what would be the point of doing it? He went from negative to positive as far as I know but he still was about to get killed, so why bring someone down with you?

Because he is a "changed man". If he really wanted to do good he would give names and help out the victims. If he only does it if he'll get off the hook, I question his motives. It takes a man to admit he was wrong and help out and then still accept his punishment.

Also there has innocent individuals that lived in the hood gave info to cops about murders and you know what happens they end up hurt because they dont get the protection needed for info. The fact is Tookie was protected and he knew he was going to die. If he really was a changed man he would have given the police information about past murders that went unsolved and other gang related crimes. He didn't. He wrote a couple books (two, right?) and people think that erases his past and he is suddenly a good guy. He's trash, always has been and always will be. Why do you feel like you have some kind of attachment or connection to this guy? He's a cold-blooded killer...get over it.
