Even I'm not this retarded

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Even I'm not this retarded

A is getting expelled in the school a few towns over for me for carving a hit list in a desk. My step cousin goes there, I used to. First of all, the kid wrote "Hit List" at the top on the desk. What the fuck? Here's the whole story from Newsday (the New York Post covered it too but you cant get the full story without being a member):

It's not really retarded, its just that the school was scared that the kid was actually going to kill them (people on his "hit list") or harm them.

"What do I love, Kevin? Stupid criminals."

Under the discipline meted out by the district, the boy will be tutored and home and counseled at the school district's expenses. His parents said they were relieved he had not been permanently kicked out of school, but said they felt the punishment, nevertheless, excessive.

I can understand them defending their son but excessive? I don't think the threat of violence in schools should ever be taken lightly.

This sounds like something that would happen in my school. I bet someone there will read this tomorrrow and do it.

These were the kind of parents that would say their kid did absolutley nothing wrong even if he killed 17 people and chopped off their noses as souveniers.

Indeed. I suppose it's easy for me to say not being a parent, but there does seem to be a lot of people who are quick to blame others or claim innocence when their child has clearly been in the wrong.
