Screw you guys who don't like turkey. I ate a shit load of turkey last night, it was good. Nothing better than stuffing, turkey and gravy. Yummy.

This afternoon for lunch I made myself a left-over turkey sandwich. WOOT.

turkey sandwiches are the best part of thanksgiving, period.

Didn't get a huge turkey this year, so there weren't that many leftovers, but enough for me to make one leftovers turkey sandwhich. Yummy..

Anyways the only way this holiday could be any more typically American is if it had the word "Freedom" thrown in it somewhere.

I agree,
Thanksgiving is a pretty worthless holiday.

but It gets me off of school, and some football not on a sunday, and an excuse to eat, so Im not complaining

lol how can you complain if the holdiay gives you a free day???

thanksgiving is easily one of the best holidays based on the fact that it's always on thursday. that's a 4 day weekend for students every year

canadians do celebrate turkey day, jae. you think turkey meat is bad? why? don't like the taste? ever try goat meat??

Turkey + gravy is amazing.

Doesn't make it any less typically American  ... yep... yep... nope.

Turkey meat is too dry and horrible, I don't even know why people bother with it. Even when it isn't dry it still tastes like cardboard.

Though I think gravy makes everything taste better.

I agree Jae, I can't eat turkey just plain. I have to put gravy on it or eat it in a sandwich. (Y)

I think turkey is leaner than chicken, but yeah, I agree, I can't eat turkey plain. Heck, even eating chicken plain (skinless, seasonless) isn't fun either, but not as bad as turkey.

I got a 13 pound turkey, and some stuffing too. I ate a lot on Thanksgiving, I got a shit of leftovers, nothing but Turkey for me for the next week!
