Best EA Sports 2005 game?

I know i love NBA live series but no game comes close to Madden series. well i heard a rumor that its going to be call ESPN Football 2006 or something like that for next yrs version. cant wait. EA and ESPN are going to redefine sports games once again. maybe we will have Mel Kiper doing his mock draft on the game. i will be willing to dish out the 49.99 quicker then ever before.

what bout ESPN 2k5?
are they not better than any of the games above?

isnt the post about EA games not 2K games. plus the only reason 2K games are worth getting is there cheap price. NFL 2k5 gameplay is horrible. they do go all out with presentation i give them that. but thats about it. im just glad ESPN decide to go with a Winner like EA for the next zillion yrs to come.

1 - Dynasty/Franchise Mode: Madden! This is one if not the most important reason why I have purchased Madden games more than any of the other titles.

2 - In-game gameplay: Madden! I can't think of Live and MVP series topping Madden in this category anytime soon, however MVP is taking huge steps each and every year.

3 - presentation/menus/graphics: Madden! Live has suffered criticism throughout the last few years and MVP is too full of button, option anywhere and its not user friendly.

4 - commentary: Live! at last lol and it is because basketball is a more active sport than football and baseball, the ball is almost always in movement and that's probably why Live wins this category.

5 - durability/longevity through time: Madden! Madden 03-05 rockasssss!!!

PS. Basketball is my favorite sport, followed by Football and then Baseball. I wish the Live series were more competitive to the others.

Madden's Franchise mode is good but it has very limited longevity. I bought it about 2 weeks ago and I'm already thinking about trading it in. I'm bored with franchise mode, it's very repetitive and certain things like the radio are useless because it cuts out as soon as you try to do anything anyways. Player trading is also useless because for some reason the only player attributes that actually make a difference in a game are speed and strength. The draft was overhyped by someone who's name will go unmentioned but if Madden is the best that franchise mode can get, I'll be disappointed.

On another note...

if you think Madden's franchise has very limited longevity, then Live doesn't have anything zero! nada! yeah you heard me right.

... right, because I have no idea what Live's franchise mode is like. I have never even heard of NBA Live and in fact I still believe this to be the National Latvian Society Culmination forums.

anyways i like Madden cos the only play i do is the Hail Mary and it works

Oh man! I can't believe most of you like Madden. Madden has horrible character models and the gameplay is weird. ESPN NFL 2k5 is the best football game.

Madden is way better than NFL 2k5 in my opinion...Maybe cuz I play Madden WAY better than NFL 2K5. (no idea why... -_-;; )

I would go with NBA Live just for the fact that I get tired of Madden a lot quicker than live

madden is a great game but i hate that the controls are so hard to get a hang of

Madden NFL 05. NBA Live 05 really improved their Dynasty Mode.

2 - In-game gameplay
Madden NFL 05. They improve each and every year.

3 - Presentation/Menus/Graphics
Madden NFL 05.

NBA Live 05. Madden NFL 05 is a little too repetitive for me.

5 - Durability/Longevity through time
NBA Live 05 & Madden NFL 05. I play these two games most of the year.

MVP is very indepth but I have to give it to Madden.

2 - In-game gameplay
MVP barely any slider manipulation needed. Excellent.

3 - Presentation/Menus/Graphics
MVP- Really easy to use and easy to get to a game. With 2x graphics the whole thing looks clear and crisp.

4 - Commentary
NBA Live 05. The guys are great

5 - Durability/Longevity through time
MVP because of the continuing modding that takes place. Check out www.mvpmods.com and download the stadiums, portraits and faces.

madden. simply because there i so much in madden that i'd love in live. They so good they monopolized the NFL gaming industry..EA needs to improve a lot in live, but they just don't have as much sponsers for the NBA branch as they do for the NFL branch.

madden is miles ahead of every other EA game.
